La Torita was born from a love for animals and the adoption story of our puppy Sadie, whom we affectionately call "La Torita." It all started one night when we found our neighbors on our doorstep with a scared and tender two-month-old puppy. They were taking care of her, as they had rescued her after she was cruelly abandoned on the street. Seeing her so small and innocent, with that fearful look, we didn't hesitate for a second to take her home. From that moment on, she became part of our family.
Adopting Sadie was much more than opening our home to her; it was taking on the profound commitment to give her all the love, security, and care that every animal needs. Thanks to her, we delved into the world of animal shelters and rescues, and understood the importance of offering a second chance to all those animals waiting for a family.
The story of Sadie, our beloved "Torita," is the soul of our brand. In every garment and accessory from La Torita, we want to convey the unconditional love that dogs give us, reminding us of the responsibility involved in giving them a home: feeding them, caring for them, providing veterinary attention, and creating a safe space full of affection. Because when they feel loved, they return it with a loyalty and companionship that transforms our lives.
La Torita also inspired us to save more lives, which is why a year later, Zealand came to our home, adopted from a shelter that rescued him from a pound where he was going to be euthanized due to hip dysplasia.

Our mission is to raise awareness about adoption, collaborate with shelters, and protect animals, sharing the spirit of love and empathy that Sadie and Zealand, our little Torita and eternal puppy Zealand, give us.
